EU meets on Russian military aggression against Ukraine.

At a meeting on March 10, EU leaders condemned the “unspeakable suffering” Russia has brought on the Ukrainian people and said in a statement that they “will not leave Ukraine alone.” While the leaders acknowledged Ukraine’s EU aspirations, Reuters reported that the leaders were cautious about fast tracking the country’s ascension to the union.
