Reuters reported, citing two anonymous sources, that Egypt had canceled contracts for the Ukrainian wheat “booked by its state grains buyer for February and March delivery but never loaded due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.”
The meeting is part of ongoing diplomatic negotiations in Washington's latest push to secure a peace deal. A Russian team is also expected to meet with U.S. delegates again on Dec. 21.
