Poland’s lower house of parliament approves law to increase military.

The law will increase Poland’s annual defense budget to 3% of GDP from the current 2%. The military will also grow from 110,000 to 250,000 troops, and territorial defense forces will be created with 50,000 members. The bill is currently awaiting consideration in the Senate and the signature of President Andrzej Duda.
