by Khrystyna Zhevlakova
As the outgoing administration of U.S. President Joe Biden rushes to provide last-minute aid to Ukraine before Donald Trump takes office in January, the State Department has recently announced a $266 million maintenance sales package for Ukraine's F-16 fighter jets. Trump has made no public comments about the Ukrainian F-16 fleet, but his expected intent to reduce support for Kyiv and get his country "out" of the war poses a question: what will become of Ukraine's U.S.-made jets if Washington w

Joe Rogan, one of the world's most popular podcasters, has sparked outrage in Ukraine, after claiming that Kyiv and its Western allies, rather than Russia, "are about to start World War III." In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience last Friday, the U.S. host criticized the outgoing President Joe Biden’s administration for allowing Ukraine to strike with Storm Shadow and ATACMS long-range missiles deep into Russian territory. In response to their use, Russian President Vladimir Putin announce

Panic grips Kyiv as embassy closures and Telegram rumors fuel fears of imminent attack

Ukrainians woke up on Nov. 20 to a message that a number of foreign embassies were closing their Kyiv offices — a stark reminder of the departure of foreign diplomats from Kyiv days before the start of the all-out war. The U.S. Embassy in the capital said it had received "specific information" about a "potential significant air attack" planned for that day. "Out of an abundance of caution, the Embassy will be closed, and Embassy employees are being instructed to shelter in place," the statemen
