UN: At least 4.8 million Ukrainian refugees have been recorded in Europe

According to the recent update by the UN's refugee agency, at least 4.8 Ukrainian refugees fleeing Russia's war have been recorded in various countries across Europe, “including those who first crossed into the neighboring countries and later moved onward.” In total, some 7.3 million border crossings have been recorded from Ukraine since Feb. 24.

At around 8:10 p.m. local time on Aug. 28, a Russian drone crashed or struck a facility in the village of Myla, about 5 kilometers (3 miles) west of Kyiv along the Kyiv-Chop highway. The attack sparked a large fire, followed by ammunition detonations, the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
