Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia are set to meet in Abu Dhabi on Feb. 4-5 for a new round of talks as part of ongoing efforts to negotiate a peace deal, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Feb. 1.

"The strike on the maternity hospital is yet another proof of a war waged against life," Governor Ivan Fedorov said.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said Ukraine continues to work "very closely" with U.S. tech billionaire Elon Musk's team on the next "important steps."

Ukraine says it is working with SpaceX to stop Russian drones from using Starlink, after reports that satellite-connected UAVs are extending their range to strike deeper into Ukrainian territory.

The number includes 880 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day.
