Congress passes nearly $40 billion aid package to Ukraine.

The Democratic-led House of Representatives voted 368-57 on May 10 to pass a roughly $40 billion bill to deliver military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. All 57 opposing votes were from Republicans. The bill will go next to the Senate for a vote before it can be signed into law by U.S. President Joe Biden.
