CNN reported citing an unnamed senior U.S. defense official that “we have seen the Russians continue to increase their number of sorties, aircraft sorties, in the last 24 hours up over 300." The official said that "Kyiv is still very much under threat from airstrikes" despite Moscow's vow to pull back from the area.
The strike damaged the refinery, allegedly due to falling drone debris, local authorities said.
