EU approves new sanctions against Russia.

The sanctions target politicians, propagandists, businessmen and family members of those who had previously been sanctioned, including employees of RIA Novosti and the head of Roskomnadzor. Former gymnast Alina Kabaeva is also included in the list as a person closely associated with Russian President Vladimir Putin. A total of 1,158 people and 98 companies are currently under EU sanctions.
