Donetsk Oblast Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko also said that up to 100,000 people still remain in the whole of Mariupol, a quarter of the pre-war figure. The highly fortified Azovstal steel plant, the only pocket of resistance in Mariupol, is being stormed by Russian troops.
