Show your support for independent Ukraine with our merch

As Ukraine celebrates 35 years of independence, we've brought together some options to make your support for Ukraine visible. Shop our store, and know that you can support the Kyiv Independent while showing the world where you stand.
Make a simple statement

We created this collection after President Volodymyr Zelensky’s explosive visit to the Oval Office on Feb. 28, 2025, but it's just as relevant today. Wear this to show your solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
Ask a question

The question we keep asking ourselves, and which our weekly newsletter on Russian current events tries to address. Wear this T-shirt to support our "WTF is wrong with Russia?" newsletter — and show the world that you want answers.
Show your support for independent journalism

Wear our classic logo pieces to show your support for the Kyiv Independent's mission to deliver locally sourced, independent journalism from Ukraine to the world.
Protest Russian annexation

We created this T-shirt in response to Russia's continued demand that Ukraine surrender five regions — Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Crimea. This T-shirt delivers a clear message: 603,628 square kilometers is the only correct size of Ukraine.
Celebrate Ukraine’s cultural heritage

In 2022, UNESCO named borshch part of Ukraine’s Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. Celebrate the beetroot stew with our borshch collection, featuring T-shirts, tote bags, and aprons.
Pay homage to centuries of Ukrainian history

While Ukraine gained independence from the Soviet Union 35 years ago, Ukraine as a nation is much older. From the founding of Kyiv over 1,500 years ago, to the Cossacks, a semi-nomadic group of warriors who were early pioneers of Ukrainian independence, make a nod to Ukraine’s rich history with our collections.
Wear the icon that symbolizes independent Ukraine

There are two symbols that represent independent Ukraine more than any others. One is the country's flag. The other is the trident or ‘tryzub’ in Ukrainian, which is the central emblem on Ukraine's modern coat of arms. From a symbol of the ancient rulers of Kyivan Rus, to a secret sign of the Ukrainian resistance, to an official state emblem, the tryzub has been an icon of Ukraine for one thousand years.
To mark Independence Day, the entire Ukrainian Trident collection has 10% off through Aug. 31.
