Valentyn Kuzan

Valentyn Kuzan is a professional photographer, coordinator, and curator of art projects and social initiatives with a journalism degree from Uzhhorod National University. Since 2016, he has undertaken a long-term project focused on Ukrainian artists, drawing inspiration from Anatol Petrytsky’s "Executed Renaissance." Recently, his work has shifted to documenting the military aspect, capturing the impact of war on cultural infrastructure and portraying courageous civilians during the conflict. He has collaborated with various media outlets such as Ukrainer, Local History, Kunst, and The Ukrainians, as well as with international organizations, including UNFPA, WHO, and UNESCO. He joined the Ukrainian military in 2023.
