How can I join Discord community?

Our Discord server is open exclusively to community members. It's a space to connect with other members, exchange ideas, and engage directly with Kyiv Independent journalists and editors.

If you're a Kyiv Independent member, sign in to your account first.

Click "Account" in the top right corner and go to "Benefits." You will find a link to join our Discord community there.

You will also receive an email titled "Join The Kyiv Independent community on Discord" with a direct access link.

Once you join the server, please share your Discord nickname with us at community@kyivindependent.com so we can grant you access to all channels. If you would like to join Ukrainian lessons, mention it in your message.

You can also contact our community manager directly on Discord, following the instructions in the welcome thread.

If you have a Patreon membership, you can get Discord access automatically by linking your Discord account to your Patreon account. Please follow these instructions to connect your accounts.
