Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya is the head of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, the country's government-in-exile. She ran in the 2020 Belarusian presidential election, which was rigged by the regime of dictator Alexander Lukashenko. Tsikhanouskaya was forced out of the country as a result of the government's crackdown on dissent. She became the voice for the Belarusian pro-democracy movement.
