Bogdana Fergsuon is a junior communications manager at the Kyiv Independent. Previously, she worked at Helping to Leave, an organization she co-founded in 2022 that continues to evacuate Ukrainians from the hardest-hit areas of Ukraine, including occupied territories. Before the full-scale war, she worked in the photography and fashion industries. Bogdana still works as a photographer and is developing a personal project exploring the many layers of loneliness the Russian war creates in the lives of young Ukrainians.
