Zelensky fires Security Service chief Ivan Bakanov

According to President Volodymyr Zelensky's decree published on July 17, Bakanov, who is also Zelensky's long-time friend, was dismissed. Bakanov was appointed as the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, or SBU, in 2019.
