Coinbase blocks 25,000 Russian cryptocurrency wallets, but not because of invasion.

The largest U.S. crypto exchange wrote that the accounts have been blocked because they were suspected of illegal activity. Coinbase also shared the addresses with the U.S. government. The company had flagged most of the Russian-linked accounts before the war started.
